PRINTS

My goal is to make luminous prints that convey emotion and interpret experience.  I generally consider image captures to be a starting point in the complex process of realizing a finished print.  A high degree of attention is paid to the various aspects of printmaking.  The aesthetic qualities of the prints are carefully controlled to convey a sense of personal experience and vision.  Tonal relationships are varied in service of mood and optimized to emphasize form, light, and shadow.

Prints are available as pigment prints on paper and dye sublimation on aluminum. Images are limited to editions of 10 unless otherwise noted. Prices start at $200 for 8x8 on paper.

Archival-quality pigment prints are made with inkjet printers.  Sizes up to 16" on the short side / 21" long side are printed in my studio using an Epson Stylus 3880 which uses archival-quality inks.  Larger sizes are printed in a professional lab under my supervision.  In most cases, prints are made on Canson Baryta Photographique 310g paper.   However, I do develop print interpretations over time in response to available technologies and my growth as an artist.

Dye sublimation prints on aluminum are produced by a professional lab under my supervision. The luxurious, luminous prints do not require protective glass and have excellent archival characteristics under proper display conditions. This is a good option for larger print sizes and contemporary settings.
